Wellby is selling artisanal wellness products. All of their products are handmade and eco-friendly. It is a small venture made by two people, only using natural products.
They wanted something that would be perfectly in line with their artisanal brand, and which would also reflect their brand which gives very relaxing vibes. They were in need of a simple multi-products store and they needed a custom template for their content and blog. Also the content from their existing store would need to be imported to Shopify.
We decided to go go very basic. After the importation of the products, we settled down on creating one custom collection as they will always have a limited range of products at a given time.
As we wanted to keep people on one page, we have implemented a mini-cart that slides from the right of the screen and also reflected the state of it below the products.
Once that was done, we worked on the content template, using their brand guidelines so they could start a blog very easily without the need for manual adjustments to make the content look exactly like they would like it to be.
By focusing on a minimal design, playing with large photos of the product and big, bold titles for the product name, we achieved the desired effect of putting the brand and its flagship product at a clear advantage.
